What is your role?
As Head of Bids, you will be responsible for leading ADP's bid strategy and management across Australia. Your role will combine strategic oversight, team leadership, and hands-on delivery. You will:
- Lead the bids team to deliver high-quality, tailored and competitive proposals, EOIs and tenders that support business growth.
- Develop and implement best-practice pursuit planning, bid processes, and win strategies aligned with ADP's strategic objectives.
- Partner with leadership teams, discipline leads and Business Development groups to align bids with market opportunities.
- Drive work winning efforts, including pursuit strategy, proposal writing, executive summaries, and identifying key win themes.
- Oversee tender pricing and project resourcing in collaboration with project and commercial leads.
- Mentor, coach and grow the bid and junior team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead post-bid reviews, capturing lessons learned and embedding improvements into future submissions.

About You
- Experience:
10+ years in bids, tenders, or pursuit management, preferably within engineering, construction, or professional services. - Leadership:
Proven ability to mentor and lead a team, driving collaboration and excellence in bid delivery. - Strategic mindset:
Strong ability to develop pursuit strategies, align with market opportunities, and craft compelling win themes. - Technical skills:
Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms. - Communication:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. - Commercial acumen:
Experience in tender pricing, resourcing, and balancing delivery requirements with commercial outcomes.
