Bid Executive

**The Opportunity**:
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Bid Executive to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent basis.
Joining as the Bid Executive, you will work collaboratively with your colleagues in the Global Bid Team along with the business development team, partners and other stakeholders including pricing and compliance in order to develop bid responses. You will support complex and strategic panel and project/mandate bids through the process from pursuits to presentations and you will contribute to the strategic growth of the firm through new and existing business wins.
Some of your main responsibilities will be;
- Draft, review, proofread and amend content for bid responses, in line with our value proposition and win themes, drawing on our bid library as appropriate for initial draft content, CVs, etc.
- Lead the Global Bid Team support on less complex project/mandate bids, working directly with partners and other stakeholders including the graphics team, practice/industry/client BD, compliance, pricing, etc, to deliver high quality, client focussed bids that maximise our chances of winning
- Receive the bid request documentation and work with lead partner/s and other bid response team members to commence the response process, develop and communicate the work plan and project manage contributions and submission requirements throughout the bid lifecycle, including for bid documents, presentations, requests for further information, BAFO negotiations, etc.
- Contribute to the design of graphical aspects of proposal documents and presentation decks, using our bid templates and ensuring compliance with our visual identity. You will ensure the design elements support our messaging, working with our Graphic Design team as needed for complex design elements

**About you**:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience of proposal writing and management in either a legal, professional services or other relevant environment, and experience of producing written content for proposals. Strong bid process knowledge, writing and project management skills; able to transform technical information into clear, compelling, succinct content for proposals to various audience types (including financial institutions, major corporates and public sector)
- Ability to articulate differentiators, benefits and win themes (our value proposition). Good grasp of bid best practice as it relates to written proposals and presentations, especially the requirement to focus content on the customer/client (their needs and concerns)
- Keen eye for design, able to improve the visual impact and aesthetic properties of proposal materials
