About the Role:
We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Bid Manager to join our bid team. This is a pivotal role where you will coordinate and lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and tender submissions for some of the Australia & Pacific's most exciting projects. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll ensure our submissions are strategic, competitive, and reflect Kramer Asia Pacific's high standards.
As Bid Manager, you will not only manage the submission process but also contribute to building strong client relationships, enhancing business development initiatives, and supporting the growth of our project pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid Management:
- Coordinate and consolidate inputs from engineering, finance, legal, and project teams.
- Manage bid strategies, schedules, and stakeholder contributions to deliver high-quality submissions.
- Contribute in conducting SWOT, client, and competitor analyses to strengthen win themes.
- Ensure bids are proofread, reviewed, and aligned with company standards prior to submission.
Bid Support:
- Build and maintain constructive client relationships while developing new opportunities.
- Provide clear advice on technical issues and client requirements.
- Conduct bid debriefs to capture lessons learned and improve future submissions.
- Explore and recommend software or tools to enhance efficiency and monitoring of bid processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
· A Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
· At least 5 years' experience in bid management, tendering, or proposals, ideally in engineering, infrastructure, or consulting industries.
· Demonstrated experience in managing complex bids with multi-disciplinary teams.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
· Proven ability to build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
