**About the role**

Provide superior market facing underwriting through the successful management of the renewal portfolio for a specific Line of Business (LoB) and in partnership with the state based commercial team to achieve market leading broker experiences and profitable growth.

Analyse and underwrite new and renewal business, regularly interacting and facing the market, under limited supervision, utilising The Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of moderate technical complexity ensuring a high level of service to customers.

**Important to your success**
- Undergraduate degree (preferable)
- ANZIIF CIP Member or Equivalent
- 5 years + insurance experience with specific LOB underwriting experience
- Superior product and underwriting knowledge (LOB)
- Highly developed insurance knowledge of commercial underwriting business, relevant Legislation and Regulations governing General Insurance.
- Excellent communicator to all audiences
- Ability to develop and leverage strong relationships
