Motor Portfolio Underwriter

Drive business growth by leading the underwriting of complex motor portfolios with a commercial acumen and digital mindset.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse renewal and new business opportunities within delegated authority levels, ensuring accurate risk assessments.
- Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to deliver tailored property insurance solutions that meet client needs.
- Leverage data insights and digital tools to inform pricing, coverage decisions, and risk management strategies.
- Partner across Claims, Distribution, and other underwriting lines to support multi-line opportunities and drive innovation.
- Contribute to underwriting innovation by sharing insights and supporting proposition development.
We're looking for an experienced underwriter with 6+ years of insurance experience, including motor underwriting and sales. You'll also have a Business degree or equivalent, ANZIIF CIP Senior Insurance Qualification, and a proven track record of driving digital transformation or innovation within underwriting.
