**The role**:
Based at our head office in Mile End, the Accounts Payable Officer role is responsible for supporting the accounts payable team and functions to ensure the payment of organisation creditors, and the undertaking of other administrative tasks.

**What you'll do**:

- Data entry, filing, archiving, reporting and document control
- Monitor the Accounts team mailbox and allocation
- Support the processing of creditor invoices
- Creation, maintenance and reconciliation of creditor statements
- Customer service with internal and external stakeholders
- Other administration support

**About You**

This challenging and complex role is suited for someone who has an understanding of Accounts Payable functions. You may have had experience in a similar position, with a high level of attention to detail and the motivation to make a difference. Along with this, possessing effective communication skills allowing you to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders, will make you successful in this role.
- Knowledge of accounts payable functions and processes
- Thorough understanding of Goods & Services Tax
- Excellent MS Office and database skills
- High degree of accuracy in your work
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Proactive and relationship oriented
- Respond positively to direction and guidance
- Knowledge of CIM and or Comcare would be advantageous
