
Accounts Payable Officer

**The role**:Based at our head office in Mile End, the Accounts Payable Officer role is responsible for supporting the accounts payable team and functions to ensure the payment of organisation creditors, and the undertaking of other administrative tasks.
**What you'll do**:
- High volume data entry of invoices
- Allocation and Processing of creditor invoices
- Ensuring timely and accurate entry of approved invoices to correct account codes
- Review communication through the Accounts Payable team mailbox and allocation
- Filing, archiving, reporting and document control for the AP
- Creation, maintenance, and reconciliation of creditors
- Ensure strong process controls are adhered to and maintained
- Vendor Statement reconciliation and review
**About You**
This challenging and complex role is suited for someone who has an understanding of Accounts Payable functions. You may have had experience in a similar position, with a high level of attention to detail and the motivation to make a difference. Along with this, possessing effective communication skills allowing you to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders, will make you successful in this role.
- Knowledge of accounts payable functions and processes
- Thorough understanding of Goods & Services Tax
- Excellent MS Office and database skills
- High degree of accuracy in your work
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
- Team oriented
- Respond positively to direction and guidance
- Knowledge of CIM and or Comcare would be advantageous
- Flu & up to date COVID-19 vaccinations
- A** **Police Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
