**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager, will partner with the organisation to provide commercial and financial management services for a portfolio of projects, ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives while balancing responsibilities from corporate, finance, and business unit perspectives.

**Core Accountabilities**:

- Partner with development teams to prepare and review plans, forecasts, and budgets at both divisional and project levels for Corporate Planning and Investment Committee Papers.
- Stakeholder Management on financial and commercial outcomes
- Developing financial models and strategies, offering decision support and analysis, contributing to planning and forecasting, and providing essential input into project outcomes and decisions.
- Report changes to approved financial plans, forecasts, and budgets promptly to enable effective overall risk and opportunity management.
- Develop project feasibility and financial models to facilitate scenario analysis, pricing strategies, procurement, and strategic decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the development and finance teams to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Offer Market Commercial Insights and stay updated on industry timing, costing, and trends.
- Actively manage risks by systematically identifying, analysing, evaluating, and treating risks that may impact project objectives.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**About You**

Education
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- CA/CPA qualified

Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience working in a mid-sized, project-based, corporate organisation, within the finance/commercial/ business partnering field
- Experience within the field of property development, construction or a related industry
- Experience delivering and presenting complex financial concepts in a simplistic manner
- Skills and experience conceptualizing, developing and presenting feasibilities/business cases and supporting financial models
- Proficient in major financial, reporting and planning systems (TechOne, Tableau and preferred).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and EstateMaster.
- Intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint.
