My client is seeking a diverse, talented and experienced Front Office Manager. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Front Office, Concierge and Night Audit ensuring achievement of business objectives and profitability through effective guest service, people management, relationship management, compliance, and financial management.

The position also represents the General Manager/Executive Assistant Manager, in their absence, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Resort's operation with a high level of guest service always provided.

This is a very busy Hotel close to the International Airport.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Establish in conjunction with the Executive Assistant Manager financial performance targets for revenue, expenditure and market share and ensure department achieves these targets.
- Assist in the development of the Annual Business Plan and Financial Budget, use this as a guide to controlling expenditure during the financial year.
- Develop working plans to meet targets; compare actual achievements against targets periodically; take necessary corrective action if not on target.
- Take responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
- Build a strong Front Office team through effective recruitment, induction, engagement, empowerment, ongoing training/ development and positive performance management.
- Demonstrate positive leadership by being hands on during busy periods
- Act as an ambassador for the Resort when interacting with guests making them feel welcome and valued.
- Ensure full understanding of Front Office Systems, areas of compliance are managed, and equipment is in
good working order and used only for the purpose for which it was intended.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all departments to ensure operations run smoothly across the business.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience with 250 keys or more is preferred
- Have full working rights in Australia
- At least 3 years’ experience successfully leading a fast paced and effective Front Office team
- Able to motivate, lead and continually develop a productive and successful team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a cross cultural and complex environment
- Ability to prioritise and be flexible and responsive to hotel changes and needs
- Excellent communicator and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Resilient with a strong ‘can do’ approach
- Holds a current RSA and First Aid Certificate (desirable)
