We are seeking surgical Bookings Officers part and full time to join our dynamic Richmond Bookings Team. The role will involve responding promptly to enquiries and requests, processing elective and emergency patient bookings, as well as general administrative duties including data entry and bed allocations. Patient Services Bookings at Richmond is open 7 days a week, Monday to Friday from 0600hrs to 2000hrs and weekends 0700-1700, and you will need to be flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster.

- The ability to prioritise in a timely and accurate manner
- An ability to cope under pressure and make informed decisions according to hospital needs

**To be successful in this role...**

Your well-developed administration, customer service and people skills see you adjust quickly and work effectively as part of any team that you join. Excellent with your time management and organisation skills, you can prioritise effectively to manage multiple requirements. Previous administration experience in the health care sector, medical or health fund industry would be advantageous but is not essential.

You will have:

- Administration experience gained within a service industry
- Experience with, or knowledge of health fund checks and requirements desirable but not essential
- The ability to work a variety of shifts across the weekly roster
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience in IPM or similar health systems software will be advantageous
