Freelance Mid-Weight Designer

**ABOUT SPARK**:
Spark is a digital marketing agency based in Surry Hills. As one of Sydney’s leading agencies, we provide comprehensive end-to-end brand, web, and search solutions for companies, organisations and government.

We are seeking a talented and creative Mid-weight Designer to join our freelance team. As a Mid-weight Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, collaborating with our clients to bring their visions to life. If you have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills, we want to hear from you

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design needs and objectives
- Develop creative concepts and translate them into compelling visual designs
- Produce high-quality design assets for both digital and print mediums
- Ensure brand consistency across all design projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, development, and project management, to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate them into design concepts

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Proven experience as a Mid-weight Designer or similar role
- Excellent proficiency in design software
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Solid knowledge of digital and print design processes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts to clients and team members
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to design
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design

**HOW TO APPLY**:
**Job Types**: Subcontract, Freelance

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
