Our client, a leading hospitality group in Australia and New Zealand, is seeking a talented Payroll Officer to join their vibrant Finance Team based in Melbourne. You'll partner closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Chief HR Manager, taking responsibility for all facets of payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform end-to-end payroll processing in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring accurate payment of wages.
- Manage Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Tax calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Handle terminations and redundancies according to legal and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, providing payroll support and addressing queries.
- Monitor and manage the payroll query inbox, delivering prompt and accurate responses.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer with additional duties as required.

**Your Profile**:

- 5+ years of payroll experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of payroll processes and compliance.
- Exposure to both Australian and New Zealand payroll environments, with knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, capable of deriving insights from payroll data.
- Proven problem-solving skills, offering suggestions for process improvements.
- Self-motivated and proactive, taking initiative to meet deadlines and deliver accurate results.
- Prior experience in payroll projects or implementation is desirable, showcasing adaptability to new systems.
