**External Communications Specialist - Pacific**
Working with senior team members, the external communications specialist - Pacific supports the development and execution of a wide range of communications activities. This role plays a key part in shaping the company’s public image and stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear, consistent messaging on behalf of the firm.

**What the day will look like**
- Support and implement external communication strategies to Australia and New Zealand markets.
- Coordinate and manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, interviews and spokesperson briefings.
- Foster strong journalist relationships and maintain up-to-date media and stakeholder contact databases
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and communication effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate and manage corporate messaging on Aon’s LinkedIn handle, and supporting executive profiles ensuring alignment with platform best practices and business priorities.
- Support executive with their profiles on LinkedIn executive profiles and institutional publications, ensuring alignment with platform best practices and business priorities.
- Coordinate and manage public relations agencies where applicable.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and industry partners. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
- Proven experience in external communications, preferably within the Australian market.
- Strong understanding of media landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
- Proven experience in LinkedIn management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
