The External Communications Team lead the delivery of strategic, planned communications that tells the Bureau story to build our reputation as a trusted source of information to the Australian community.

As a Communications Officer in the External Communications Team, you will deliver strategic, planned and human-focused communications activities. You will provide coordinated, consistent, and collaborative services that ensures we are informing the Australian public about the work of the Bureau.

This is a strategic external communications role. You will demonstrate a proven ability to connect people, problem-solve, develop, and deliver effective communication and stakeholder engagement strategies underpinned by clear logic, considered thinking, and solid evidence-base.

Working in as a business partner, you will work collaboratively with your internal clients to communicate and engage a diverse audience. The key to this role is building strong, effective relationships through delivering a high level of service.
