- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the payroll data, working closely with Management, Operations and HR
- Maintain all Payroll systems, ensuring they are fully compliant with legislation, awards and enterprise agreements, and are fit for purpose
- Manage and monitor integration between Payroll systems, and other systems such as Success Factors and Power BI
- Conduct training throughout the business on the use of Payroll systems, including Time & Attendance training for site-based staff
- Recommend and implement solutions to automate manual tasks
- Participation in projects and implementations
- Support continuous improvement by identifying areas of improvement and providing recommendations to the National Payroll Manager; assist with delivery and implementation
- Ensure effective governance (including security, privacy and confidentiality), controls and processes
- Interpret system upgrade documentation and escalate to the National Payroll Manager where required; provide training and education to the Payroll team
- Assisting with Year-End processing
- Assisting with end-to-end Payroll processing as required, particularly during periods of absence
- Manage and respond to queries from employees, stakeholders and third parties
- Generation of ad-hoc reporting/custom reporting solutions for the business in order to drive and improve business performance
- Ensure Payroll integrates fully with finance and understands the payroll, cash and accounting relationship
- Ensure Payroll is aware of the relevant environments in which the business operates and puts in place plans in advance of any relevant changes and has appropriate change management process in place to enact

***:

- 5-10+ years of Payroll experience with multiple systems, e.g. ADP, Chris21, SAP, PayGlobal
- Previous experience in a similar role, specifically supporting Payroll systems
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
