Payroll Systems Support Analyst

As the Payroll Systems Support Analyst you will be part of the team that is responsible for delivering high quality, robust, timely and efficient changes ensuring payments to employees are free of systemic errors. In this role you will provide first level support, investigate issues raised by the Payroll Operations team, gather business requirements for changes and deliver system configuration changes to various business stakeholders.
The systems include Oracle Payroll, SAP Payroll, Kronos Workforce Central and Dimensions. You will be part of the People Services Team, in the Business Services Centres.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver compliant system configuration to ensure our employees are paid accurately.
- Ensure assigned tickets are managed in accordance within SLAs.
- Provide quality first level support to payroll teams.
- Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and analyse requirements.
- Ensures business requirements are clearly documented and handed over to the IT Support Technical team for development or further technical analysis.
- Delivers systems configuration to service level standards of timeliness and quality ensuring compliance to relevant industrial instruments and business requirements.
- Ensures completed business requirements are provided to the Test Team for test case preparation and execution, and support testing as required.
- Provides accurate administration, support, and maintenance of the respective HR Payroll systems.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives to improve the service offering.
