**About the role**:
Queensland Rail has a fixed term 6-month opportunity (with potential to extend) with the Major Projects, Engineering & Rail Safety (MPERS) team. This role will see you joining the Governance, Performance & Improvement team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ongoing evaluation and refinement of MPERS’s strategic plan/s (with a focus on employee engagement / cultural uplift within teams)
- Maintenance of Visual Management Boards and performance management culture in MPERS and Alliance partners
- Implementation, management and communication of MPERS innovation program and continuous improvement culture throughout MPERS and Alliance partners
- Engagement with Queensland Rail stakeholders (ICT, Senior Leaders, Building Services) and external partners to ensure delivery of accountabilities at a high level
- Foster relationships with Major Project’s Senior Leadership and their leadership teams.
- High level of communication skills including the ability to articulate the MPERS strategy and translate into effective business strategies and operational plans.
- High level of skill to drive and influence outcomes through a systematic and consultative approach with diverse range of stakeholders.
- Substantial level of skill in strategic management with well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Extensive knowledge in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategy, frameworks, policy and programs.
- Is proactive, agile and willing to support and lead across a variety of MPI initiatives as required.
