- We have an exciting opportunity for an up-and-coming
- **Human Resources Administrator** to join our outstanding People, Culture and Diversity team based at our support office in Hawthorn East. This a fixed term contract for 12 months where you will have the opportunity to work with other passionate people. This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious, driven HR professional who is wanting to develop their foundation in HR skills, while getting exposure to all facets of HR to set them up for success as a true generalist.

- **Human Resources Administrator**, in conjunction with HR Officers will provide support and general advice for all HR queries to the wider organisation. The
- **Human Resources Administrator** reports to HR Manager who will provide support, guidance and regular supervision.

**Your day to day activities include**:

- Accurate data entry and maintenance of transitioning employee / volunteer records into the HR Information System (HRIS)
- Ensure the timely management of the HR helpdesk in line with the service level agreements (SLAs) to meet the stakeholders’ needs and expectations
- Be the first point of contact for general HR queries and provide guidance based on legislation, industrial instruments, policies and procedures within their scope and escalate issues to the HR Officers, Talent Acquisition Advisors, and/or HR Business Partner or other members of PCD with sound discretion
- Provide exceptional customer experience by anticipating and actively responding to stakeholders’ HR related needs
- Maintenance of employee and volunteer compliance records including police checks, working rights, vaccination history, qualifications, and other essential criteria
- Support recruitment activities by providing advice on the process and perform administrative tasks
- Conduct process mapping and identification and implementation of process improvements
- Ensure compliance against relevant quality standards and indicators and Benetas requirements

**To thrive in the role you will need**:

- Experience in recruitment, customer service and/or administration or similar roles
- Solid experience providing administrative support, data management and reporting
- Capacity to understand business needs and contemporary workforce challenges and issues
- Capacity to identify process improvements and map processes
- Exemplary organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Certificate in Business Administration - desirable
- Experience and competence using an Information System to manage confidential data
