We have an opportunity for an experienced Handyperson to join the team at Full time or Part time capacity. This varied role requires you to maintain the building, plants and equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout The Grounds Group to the highest possible standard. You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees.

**So do you have what it takes**:
As Handyperson/Maintenance you will be responsible for general repairs and maintenance of the Grounds Venues. The primary focus of the role is to carry out routine and preventative maintenance work on a daily basis. You will be liaising with all departments to deliver appropriate maintenance services and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- You will have to undertake general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance throughout the grounds group. This includes basic plumbing, hydraulic, air conditioning service and cooking equipment repairs
- Servicing of plant and general and cooking equipment as directed
- Ensuring all painted areas are maintained and in good order
- Paint work and patching in rooms, as and when required
- Perform duties relevant to experience and trade as applicable and also perform other maintenance related tasks as required
- Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties
- The ability to coordinate contractors
- Ability to order and maintain stock

**The Nitty Gritty - you will have**:

- Previous Handyman Maintenance Experience or Trade Skills
- Relevant Trade Certificates
- Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under limited supervision
- Current Drivers License

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability
