**About the Role**
As an Insurance Investigator, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding RACQ's integrity by conducting thorough investigations into potential fraudulent claims and policy breaches. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting detailed interviews with members, customers, and third parties.
- Assessing evidence related to various insurance claims, including Home, Motor, Pet, and CTP insurance.
- Compiling comprehensive reports and providing recommendations to claims owners, legal teams, and underwriting departments.
- Identifying risks that may affect RACQ's strategic goals and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring all investigative processes align with the General Insurance Code of Practice (GICOP) and adhere to relevant regulatory standards, including those set by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission).
**About You**
- Experience: 1-3 years in a relevant field, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, strong analytical abilities, and excellent relationship management skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance industry practices and regulations, particularly the Insurance Code of Practice, or a willingness to rapidly acquire this knowledge.
