**About the role**
Our Counter Fraud Intelligence Hub is looking for their next Fraud Intelligence Team Manager, to lead a team of professionals here at RACQ Insurance. We are on the hunt for an experienced fraud professional to manage all aspects of Counter Fraud Intelligence capability, and to provide an industry leading service to help prevent and detect fraud. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Leading the Counter Fraud Intelligence Hub, and allocating work through to intelligence and fraud analysts, as well as other team members as required
- Assisting the Manager Counter Fraud and Investigations with developing of operational plans, assisting with resourcing, planning, scheduling, reporting and evaluations
- Contributing to process improvement that help shape workflow through the teams
- Identifying and assessing risks that could prevent RACQ Insurance from achieving strategies and supporting our members; planning and execute risk mitigating procedures.
- Ensuring compliance across RACQ code of Conduct and other relevant acts and codes, especially insurance related including GICOP, NPP, APRA, ATO, ASIC etc.
- Recommending and implementing anti-fraud processes for changing patterns and trends.
**About you**
As an applicant for this role, it is integral that you can demonstrate a high level of communication, specific to team management, always fostering cohesive collaboration and enforcing an inclusive culture across your own team, and the wider business. As a fraud professional it is important that you have the following:
- Experience and/or knowledge of fraud detection techniques including the development of data analytics and rules-based fraud detection technology.
- Experience and/or knowledge of General Insurance and CTP
- Demonstrated people leadership skills focussing on collaboration and team engagement
- At least five years current experience within a Counter Fraud team or unit
- A demonstrated ability to think analytically, logically, and laterally.
