A fantastic opportunity at nbn, Australia’s largest infrastructure project, as the Manager, SEO Controls Assurance, reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Controls Assurance, where you will join the SEO Risk Management Team, a key pillar within the Systems Engineering and Operations (SEO) business unit.
A bit about your role
The overall objective of the Manager, SEO Controls Assurance, is to support SEO (Systems, Engineering and Operations) with achieving its strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives by managing a program of controls testing across SEO.
This role will work with the Senior Manager, Technology Controls Assurance to manage the team to perform controls testing and control assurance activities, providing insight on the design and operating effectiveness of controls, compliance with policies, processes and regulations, and suggest recommendations for improvements.
The Manager will be tasked with performing controls reviews end to end including planning, scoping, fieldwork, reporting, and confidently presenting findings to influence senior management to remediate control gaps.
A key part of this role is to collaborate with stakeholders (IT Risk Managers, Security team, Group Risk, etc.) to maintain oversight of remediation activities across audit-identified areas of weakness, security related incidents, potential emerging risks and control gaps.
A bit about you
You will also hold an understanding of risks associated with IT infrastructure and networks, IT resilience and recovery, public cloud computing, supplier risk management and IT service management processes.
