**Tactical Marketing Manager - Far East**
**Job Summary**

- Lead responsibility for the development and successful implementation of marketing strategy for Massey Ferguson in the Far East Sub-Region.
- Responsible for ensuring that key company targets are achieved by creating effective Sales and Marketing processes.
- Motivate and set the direction for the product management & sales group in achieving all margin and volume expectations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Product Portfolio Strategy - Prepare comprehensive analysis of Massey Ferguson presence in Far East Sub-Region. Develop strategic direction and associated product roadmap to implement and track agreed actions.
- Market Intelligence and pricing - Work with the Business Managers to maintain up to date and current competitive price comparisons for key competitors. Maintain and disseminate all market data ensuring product specifications and pricing remain competitive, maximising margin expectations.
- Sales Program Development - Work with key Sales & Marketing stakeholders to develop, implement and monitor sales programs in a timely manner to ensure sales targets are met.
- Inventory Management and Forecasting - Prepare yearly forecasts, maintaining monthly for both markets and generate free demand requirements for all source factories. Develop and implement effective tools to track order bank.
- Advertising and Sales Promotions - Support distributors where necessary to develop marketing materials.
- System Maintenance - Ensure all pricing, literature and informational systems are functional and accurate at all times for the Massey Ferguson portfolio. This includes quotation platforms, websites both internal and external and product maintenance systems.

- A working knowledge of multiple distribution channels is desired.
- Must have a working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SAP and CRM operating systems.
- A working knowledge of sales & marketing practices suited to the agricultural sector is desired
- Understanding of cultural business practices in the following countries: Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and developing countries more generally.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic/ Marketing related roles, with management experience preferred
- Proven track record of the conception and implementation of strategic initiatives
- Proven track record of process development and standardisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Business - majoring in marketing preferred.
- Conversant in the use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
