**The Opportunity**
Responsible for overseeing and managing operational performance delivery for assigned customer to ensure Best-in-Class service delivery.
**Line Manager**:Station Manager
**Location**:Mascot, NSW
**Conditions**: Full-time, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)
**Key Relationships**
- Serve as the on-site operational lead embedded at customer location, supporting Freight and AOG activities.
- Provide direct oversight of AOG part movements, ensuring real-time communication and escalation management.
- Work closely with customer stakeholders and B&Hs internal teams (local and international) to ensure continuity and performance across global touchpoints.
- Manage the customer's shipment monitor, ensuring data accuracy, shipment visibility, and proactive updates.
- Attend and contribute to weekly / monthly service reviews led by the OAM, with a focus on KPI reporting, performance trend analysis, and issue resolution.
- Support onboarding of additional customer workstreams including warehousing, repair cycle management, and special project logistics (e.g. A220 delivery, A330 reconfig).
- Ensure strict compliance with contractual KPIs, SOPs, and agreed escalation paths.
- Collaborate with other Key Account Managers to share insights, CI opportunities, and account learnings.
- Proactively identify service improvements and efficiencies that protect and grow the customer relationship.
- Assist in the identification of risk, service gaps, and client feedback, ensuring rapid response and service recovery.
- Provide frontline support and client engagement for all services offered under the customer contract (freight, courier, AOG, OBC, milk runs, repair cycle, etc.).
**Skills and Attributes**
- Proven experience in Operational Supervisory / management level roles, with a deep understanding of airfreight operations and freight forwarding, including engine movements, in a commercial aviation environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic customer accounts or major airline partners.
- Customer focussed with excellent attention to detail.
- A sound knowledge of Import, Export and Courier processes as well as familiarity with AOG and time critical freight shipments and continuous improvement methodology.
- Have the ability to independently manage account responsibilities, build excellent relationships and develop partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence customers, partners and employees, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce correspondence, written reports, presentations.
- Proven record of being responsive and innovative.
- Be able to identify, coordinate and manage change initiatives.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet defined deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise as well as focus on the detail.
- Strong analytical skills to be able to assess complex data quickly and propose solutions to satisfy both the customer and B&Hs objectives.
- Work pro-actively using own initiative.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and attend interstate or virtual meetings as needed.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as EASA Part 145 and FAA CFR 14 is advantageous.
