As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for contacting Volkswagen Financial Services customers at the early stage of delinquency by phone and negotiating payment arrangements which are suitable for both the customer and VWFS.

**What you'll do**
- Manage accounts and complete daily actions. Identify the instances where action is needed and the appropriate course of action to take, e.g. Follow up accounts, and arrange payments, issue accounts to agents. Prevent account rolling over into next queue.
- Phone customers, working to a daily target. Making proper, clear notes to ensure other users are aware of arrangements.
- Maintain constant communication with agents regarding accounts they are working on.
- Take queue calls from customers, remaining logged into the phone queue at all times.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Offer tailored solutions to remedy problems with accounts.
- Process customer requests efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Have solid knowledge of our T & C’s and should be confident in referencing.
- Complete all appropriate administrative duties as directed by the Collections Team Leader.

**What you'll bring**
- 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment including a demonstrated ability to identify and develop alternative solutions to problems, to evaluate courses of action and to reach logical conclusions.
- Experience in a fast paced Contact Centre environment
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute day to day collections activities.
- Good administrative experience is desirable
- Understanding the regulator and NCCP guidelines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, selecting language, tone and format to suit target audience.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
