Settlements Officer

We are currently looking for a Settlements Officer to join our Dealer and Customer Services Department to work on a part time basis fixed term contract on Wednesdays 8.30am - 3.30pm and Saturdays 8am - 2pm. As a Settlements Officer you will be responsible for reviewing automotive loan documents prior to processing payments, working closely with dealers and lending officers to resolve issues and always providing a high-level of customer service.

**Settlement of Contracts**:

- Process contracts in a quick, efficient & accurate manner
- Organise tax invoices for payment
- Consistent and accurate identification of inconsistencies with system information vs. documentation
- Clearly communicate errors or documentation issues with dealers
- Income and expenses verification

**Allocation of Funds**:

- Allocate monies to correct recipients and prepare Dealer Tax Invoices for payment, to a high level accuracy rate
- Make clear notes for accounts processing
- Recheck and identify issues with payment details submitted

**Dealer Service**:

- Take queue calls and process dealer requests efficiently and in a timely manner
- Remain logged into the phone queue as required
- Identify dealer needs and offer solutions to problems with accounts
- Communicate with dealers in a professional and friendly manner

**Administrative Duties**:

- Assist in Retail Credit when required
- Assist Collections when required
- Assist Customer Service when required
- Recently completed qualifications in Finance, alternatively, experience in the financial services or banking industry
- 1-2 years' experience in a customer service role is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- A motivation to learn
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced and high volume work environment
- Be readily adaptable to change and challenging problems
