Talent International is searching for experienced Support Administrator to join our client, a large utility company. This is a 12 month contract opportunity role, based in Fortitude Valley with good possibilty for extensions.

**About the Role**:
The purpose of the Support Administrator role is to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, in person or over the phone. The Support Administrator will work closely with the Service Desk Manager to support the rest of the ICT group as required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the first level of support for any information technology issues and problems
- Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Provide assistance remotely by phone or in person while using the IT Service Management system (ITSM) to track incidents and tasks
- Help manage the deployment, configuration and security of desktop and mobile computing devices and peripherals
- Proactively maintain and support the meeting room technology solutions
- Liaise with vendors performing repairs of computers and mobile devices
- Assist in creating and maintaining a knowledge base of documentation for ICT issues and solutions
- Maintain asset registers and stock levels for ICT equipment
- Create a positive customer support experience by ensuring the timely resolution or escalation of issues, communicating promptly on progress and handling customers with a professional attitude
- Proactively monitoring the performance of services against SLAs, recommending performance improvements and preparation of performance reports
- Consulting with staff, managers, and executives about the best security practices and providing technical advice

**Experience Required**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology is desirable.
- ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or experience working in an ITIL environment
- At least 1 year in an IT Support role with similar accountabilities
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Office 365 Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams
- Understanding of Skype or Teams meeting room technology
- Microsoft SCCM or Intune experience working with an SOE
- Experience supporting Citrix and VPN users
- Active Directory adds/moves and changes experience
- Basic Powershell Scripting experience
- Documenting technical processes
