**About WAFII**

WAFII Mental Health Services is a young NDIS REGISTERED company servicing National Disability Insurance Scheme participants. WMHS was started by competent and compassionate Support Coordinators who wanted to do right by the participant and have a passion for the disability supports industry with well over 25 years of combined experience.

Our company mission is to provide high standard of service delivery to our participants and their families with the emphasis of finding the right fit between our participants and the support workers to build long-lasting relationships.

WMH aims to provide care and support that would enhance the participant’s lifestyle, utilizing a Strength based and Person-Centered approach.

**About the role**

As a member of our Administration and Coordination team would be typically responsible for running and coordinating the day to day administrative duties, support worker shifts relating to WAFII. Our Admin and Coordination team are at the forefront of the company, answering incoming communications, distributing mail correspondence, general admin duties such as electronic filing, data entry and various ad hoc duties.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Reception coverage; assisting clients and stakeholders with enquiries at reception and over the phone in a timely manner
- Ability to adapt easily to changed work environments and priorities
- Scheduling shifts with staff as required by our participants
- Taking notes and minutes in meetings
- Being a point of contact for a range of staff and external stakeholders
- Processing and directing physical and electronic mail onto the relevant parties
- Greeting and directing visitors and new staff to the organisation (physical office space tbc)
- Researching any necessary information for staff members
- Finding ways to improve administrative processes

**Skills and Experience**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills on all levels.
- Understanding of administrative tasks.
- Proficient in operating computer systems for organisation purposes such as electronic databases, MS suite, Adobe.
- Strong experience with meeting coordination and diary management.
- Understanding of complex rostering (desirable)
- Understanding of health care in a public setting (desirable)
- Experience in the disability industry is an advantage.

**Essential Requirements**
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain;
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain;
- Current Police check or willlingness to obtain;
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless you are an Excepted Person as defined by the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions. All applicants must therefore be able to comply with this requirement.
