Associate Director, Credit & Collateral - CIB
- Permanent Role

**How will I help?**

This role is a part of Corporate & Institutional Banking, under Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) division. This role reports to the Director, Credit & Collateral and will support the ongoing operations of the team, execution of various initiatives in the line of business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support day to day oversight and management of the activities of the Collateral team, co-ordinating workflow activities and hind sighting collateral reviews / financial carding activities.
- Identification and implementation of centralisation opportunities for the Collateral team across the CIB Credit process, including development of process maps and procedure guides.
- Assistance with the preparation of monthly / quarterly reporting associated with the activities of the Collateral management team.
- Support the regular review of Credit policies owed by the 1st line or impacting the 1st line's operations.
- Engagement and participation in workstreams across the broader Westpac Group in respect of policy reviews and simplification and other regulatory initiatives.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with Stakeholders that achieve the required outcomes; provide direction and guidance to others.

**What do I need?**
- Experience in Institutional Banking and credit analysis and assessment, including supporting processes.
- Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Strong Collaboration and excellent communication skills: this role requires influencing and interacting with the Group and WIB CDO, Technology roles and CIB Regulatory Projects team.
- Preferably experience / working knowledge of the Credit Connect platform.
