**The Role**:
As Associate Director you’ll be responsible for supporting the relationship management and strategic direction of a large portfolio of high-profile Fund/Financial sponsor clients. You’ll benefit from the support of a large team to deliver bespoke debt and non-debt financial solutions to the bank’s client base and work collaboratively with other areas of the bank to enhance ancillary business and to maximise shareholder value.

**Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to**:

- Support the Client Director, responsibility for the client relationship management of a portfolio of clients across the Funds Management sector in Australia. This includes joint responsibility for the overall financial performance and returns of the client portfolio
- Build client advocacy for NAB
- Collaborate and work closely with key product teams, including Infrastructure, Property, Markets, Transactional, Portfolio Management and Credit partners to deliver client outcomes and drive growth
- Lead the execution from a documentation point of view for any new Fund level debt financings
- Assist the Client Management & Execution team with complex credit submissions when required
- Be accountable for the credit risk quality of the portfolio; proactively manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirements
- Structure and price new Fund level debt transactions

**We’re looking for the best and brightest to deliver the best for our customers. You’ll need**:

- Detailed sector knowledge ideally gained across the Funds/Financial Sponsors sector, through relevant institutional banking experience (all sectors, including Funds, Property, Infrastructure will be considered) or across Portfolio Management with proven credit writing skills in those sectors.
- Proven track record of assisting the management of client relationships and driving client advocacy
- Proven track record of assisting origination ability that delivers revenue and returns
- Commercial acumen and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Tertiary qualifications in business, law or engineering, Corporate/Institutional banking experience
