About the Role
As an Associate Director in our Team, you will be a key contributor in facilitating the origination of revenue opportunities in FIG Australia portfolio with a team of specialised credit analysts, covering Non-Bank Financial Institutions, which include Finance Companies, Equity Brokers, Payment Companies, and non-bank lenders. You will provide guidance, and direction, to deliver high quality, fit-for-purpose, globally consistent, and time sensitive credit analytics for proactive management and credit decision making.
You will also provide though leadership and delivery across the end-to-end relationship credit management process covering Origination, Transaction Structuring, Risk Grading, Risk Analysis & Credit Approval, Documentation, Portfolio Monitoring, and Specialised Industry Research. As the first line of defence (in conjunction with relationship executives), you will ensure well managed principles and manage credit risks within a regional portfolio.
In addition, you will represent Research & Analysis and Relationship Management teams in all Group Credit Assurance reviews and exercise credit approval discretion.

Thorough deep client/industry understanding and underpinned by high quality analysis, your role will help capture valuable business and cross-sell opportunities within acceptable risk appetite.
Industry specific research and ongoing portfolio management functions are also core responsibilities.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in relationship credit management across industry segments.
Highly advanced collaboration, relationship, networking, and communication skills.
Strong client focus with the capability of leading due diligence activities, negotiations, and senior level customer engagements.
Strong knowledge and exposure to Risk & Compliance management, and understanding of the operating and regulatory environment.
Strategic mindset, highly commercial with a proven ability to balance risk/reward priorities.
Proven skills to lead through complexity and ambiguity while driving efficiencies and continuous improvement.
