**About the Schools**:
Palm Beach Currumbin State High School is a large high school on the Gold Coast that provides educational services to over 2650 students. Elanora State High School has a current enrolment of over 950 students and Miami State High School has approximately 1400 students.
All three schools have extensive relationships and networks with local businesses, employment services and Regional Training Organisations.

**Your Role**:
As the Link and Launch Coordinator, you will oversee the delivery of the school-based Link and Launch program, engaging with local agencies, support services, training providers, business and industry partners to maximise opportunities and secure pathways for Year 12 completers at risk of not transitioning to further work or study.

**You will**:

- Foster partnerships with local training, higher education and employment providers;
- Provide practical assistance to young people to access required services to remove barriers to their engagement;
- Market the service and undertake events and initiatives to raise the profile of the role within the school and broader community;
- Work across a number of local schools to ensure Year 12 students are aware of the transition support available upon leaving school; and
- Provide and develop guidance for young people engaged in the program, including identifying pathways, monitoring their ongoing success, and maintaining relevant records.

**Requirements**:
In addition to the requirements specified in the attached Role Description, "Your Opportunity" and "Your Role" we are looking for someone who:

- Is able to work collaboratively with existing school staff including the Principal, Deputy Principals, Guidance Officer, Heads of Department and School Leadership Team, as well as working in partnership with nearby schools
- Has an awareness of / engagement with local youth support services
- Has experience with working with older school students and / or young adults.

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
- A brief resume including contact details for 2 referees (one of whom should be your current supervisor)
- A maximum 2 page written response outlining your suitability for the role referring to the key capabilities under the 'How you will be assessed' section in the attached role description.
