Clinical Program Manager, Sydney - Oncology. Hybrid role - line management and project management.

**Your new company**
A passionate and leading NFP in the clinical trials sector is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Based out of Sydney, you will report directly in the CEO and join an established team of research professionals who are passionately driving the research interests of the members. The NFPs broader network is highly engaged, committed and passionate about the specific Oncology indications they focus on. Joining a team of 13 in total, your work will be valued and recognised. **Your new role**
This role is available due an expanding study portfolio. As the Clinical Program Manager, you will simultaneously lead a small team of research staff (2 Clinical Research Project Managers and a CTA) and manage some of the larger, complex studies in the study portfolio. Potential for you to grow your team long term. Reporting into the CEO, you will enjoy a diverse and challenging role; leading and managing the clinical trials team, develop, update and maintain SOPs, develop, design and manage clinical research projects, develop protocols, develop ICFs, manage the research program, maintain oversight for budgets, quality, timelines and external vendors, engage with sites and investigators, partner with the membership, attend sub-committee meetings etc. Studies in the portfolio will include Phase II/III studies, interventional trials, quality of life trials and will be investigator initiated trials. The group runs trials of varying sizes; from small cohort studies to large, complex interventional trials.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be tertiary qualified in the health sciences, life sciences or equivalent. You will be a passionate clinical research professional who is ready for a new challenge; experienced in managing clinical trials in Australia and New Zealand. You will be familiar with the development, start up, maintenance and management of Phase II/III trials. Oncology experience is preferable but not essential. You will enjoy leading a team and have direct line managed experience. You will have excellent time management skills, organisational skills, attention to detail and a thorough understanding of ICH-GCP, applicable regulations and ethical requirements.
