Development Compliance Officer

**About the role**:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Development Compliance Officer to join our team. As a Development Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all development projects comply with relevant regulations, laws, and policies. You will work closely with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure compliance throughout the entire development process.

**Duties include**:
unauthorised building works.
- Investigation of complaints regarding unauthorised development and building works
- Investigation of stormwater nuisance issues
- Carry out inspections, issue orders and penalty infringement notices.
- Prepare statement of facts and contentions, affidavits, statement of evidence and briefs of

evidence and appear in court.

**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. Diploma/Degree qualifications in Building Surveying, Planning, Compliance, or equivalent
demonstrated work experience in a similar regulatory role
2. White Card - General Construction Induction
3. Drivers Licence (Class C) - NSW

**Position details**:
Permanent Full-Time Role, S0955,
Salary will be based on qualifications, expertise, experience and knowledge Salary: Starting from $84k p.a. + Superannuation + Council Leaseback Vehicle
