Located at the top of Mt Gravatt, social enterprise Lovewell Cafe empowers women from vulnerable backgrounds, providing them with opportunities to thrive in the hospitality industry.

With city views and nature at the door, events at Lovewell provide a meaningful opportunity to boost revenue outside cafe hours and extend awareness of Lovewell’s mission to more people.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing all event enquiries, and building processes to support efficient communications, contracting and a positive customer experience.
- Working towards sales targets, nurturing the client database and building new pathways to sales
- Event coordination of all events at the Lovewell Cafe, which has previously hosted engagement parties, wakes, birthdays, fundraisers, small weddings, client workshops, corporate dinners and markets
- Work closely with the cafe manager and head chef on event requirements
- Create and deliver a marketing plan to support sales targets
- Create and deliver a calendar of Lovewell events to further leverage our beautiful venue and the opportunity to diversity experiences community can have at Lovewell
- Onsite event management and ensuring all events are carried out in compliance with OHS and internal policies
- Support event staff training and development of a casual events team

**To be successful in this role you will**
- Be self-driven, and able to work independently
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in end-to-end management and delivery of events and event sales
- Have hospitality experience - and love hospitality
- your full driver’s license and your own transport
- Be a strong communicator, reliable, organised, compassionate and have great attention to detail
- Take pride in providing excellent customer service and delivery

A lot of the administrative work within this role can be done in your own venue, but we do expect regular attendance onsite at Lovewell cafe and that you’ll be available to support key client and internal events onsite.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
