
Communications Manager

Calling all Communications Managers Fantastic opportunity to lead a high-performing team in this critical corporation in the defence sector.
As a vital member of the external Communications and Government Relations team, the Communications Manager will lead on communications strategy of the organisation, creating content and campaigns that protect and enhances the corporation's public brand and reputation.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Contribute to the development of the corporation's communications strategy which includes external communications, media and social media, marketing and events;
- Execute the communications strategy in a complex environment;
- Deliver high quality marketing, communications and multi-media campaigns that support public engagement in the corporation's program of work;
- Form trusted networks and partnerships that will assist the corporation's strategic positioning within the industry;
- Manage the communications team in South Australia.
- **Must have**:
- Relevant tertiary education such as communications, journalism or equivalent;
- Experience in public relations and communications of at least 3 years in an equivalent role
- Experience navigating a complex environment, ideally in federal/state government or in the Defence industry;
- Previous experience managing a team of professionals to deliver high quality outcomes that deliver on organisation strategies;
- Ability to develop, establish and maintain relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- **Must be an Australian Citizen**
