At Appscore, we get stuff done quickly - there are not loads of red tape that you need to navigate through to be successful in your role. **About the Role**: We are looking for a Product Owner to join the Appscore team to work on a Payment Platform project. Our client is one of Australia's widely accepted cards for fuel and vehicle-related expenses. Customers are able to use our client's Motorpass at 6,000+ locations on essentials like servicing, tyres, and roadside assist. As a Product Owner, your key responsibilities will be: - Develop the key strategies and roadmap for the infrastructure that underpins the platform and then work with your dedicated infra team to execute - Some of these key strategies include compliance automation, moving the platform to public cloud, automation of manual tasks, providing enhanced monitoring, environment planning - Managing expectations through consistent and clear communication with various business and technology stakeholders. - This will involve getting buy-in from stakeholders for initiatives that will support the developed strategies - Responsible for keeping the infrastructure compliant and updated regularly and have a strong appreciating for security, risk and data protections. - Make informed decisions around priority for the infrastructure team and be open to negotiating with stakeholders across the organisation - Working closely with other product owners in the space who are more business facing to deliver business value - Explore and evaluate different technologies and make informed decisions on what is the best option for specific cases around automation - Provide thought leadership around technology, infrastructure, integration patterns, compliance automation and best practices. **About You**: - Have demonstrated a clear ability to manage expectations with various stakeholders and be able to negotiate with them on timing and approach - Have experience exploring different technologies and driving their adoption within a team - Have experience driving automation within a team - Have experience articulating complex technical problems and their solutions to non-technical stakeholders. - Have an appreciation for the protection of customer data and adhering to the organization's security and risk policies. - Have a strong understanding of different architectures, security patterns, integration patterns and best practices - Have some hands-on experience in your past working on infrastructure or development activities. - Have broad experience working on or managing different technologies. **Benefits**: - Weekly Personal Training/Yoga, free virtual gym classes and discounted gym memberships - Bi-Monthly activity budgets for every team - Flexible working times to fit around your life (early start = early finish) when required - Unlimited puppy cuddles from our office dog, A.K.A "Chief Of Pats", Missy - A focus on employee wellbeing - Social activities, End of day "switch off" for work life balance, and access to the Appscore Employee Assistance Program with free counselling services, health and wellbeing discounts - Optional flu shots, paid for by us - Direct and transparent access to our Managing Director and Leadership team.
