**Product Owner**

**Role**

The Product Owner is a key role, partnering with the Product Manager, Design and Engineering teams to deliver value to market.

We’re looking for an experienced Product Owner, or a strong Associate Product Owner ready to make the next step in their career. We’ve made the transition to a cloud-based SaaS model, and now we’re building for the future. The right person will have at least a years’ experience in a SaaS company.

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting the Product Manager in managing the product roadmap
- Owning the backlog for teams, balancing functional and technical requirements, to ensure the highest value items are prioritized, in alignment with product strategy
- Partnering with engineering teams to deliver value to market by acting as product owner for agile product delivery and representing product in ceremonies where appropriate
- Empowering the engineering and design teams to devise the best solutions, designs and technical approach by ensuring the product vision, strategy and customer and user problems are effectively communicated
- Assisting Product Managers in communicating roadmaps, priorities, decisions and risks to internal stakeholders maintaining transparency across the organization
- Conducting market and competitive landscape analysis
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that products and features are brought to market successfully
- Working with the Product Manager to create business cases to support build/no build or buy decisions for product features
- Contributing to the Product Management function by continuously sharing and driving best practice
- Own & drive the product design process for parts of the product suite, working with customers/stake holders, UI/UX & development teams to see high value product features being delivered
- Ability to drive product focused workshops with customers & other stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of a years’ experience acting as product owner in a Scrum team with a SaaS company using Agile effectively, with at least 2 years’ prior experience in a relevant role such as software development, User Experience, business analysis or Quality Assurance.
- Experience working in a distributed team environment with remote stakeholders
- Good stakeholder management experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct demonstrations and present to senior stakeholders and customers
- Collaborative with a strong sense of teamwork, understanding that when we succeed, we succeed together
- Customer and user centric with demonstrable experience of partnering with design and engineering to devise the best solutions to identified problems
- Technically savvy, capable of understanding the solution approach taken by the development team and the ability to communicate effectively on the product technology
- Experience in healthcare technology is required
