**About the role**:
Based in the Sandy Bay campus at the UTAS International Pathway College the Student Services Administrator's role is responsible for supporting the Head of College, other faculty staff, and students to manage the day to day operation of the college. You will be communicating and interacting with current and potential international students for whom English is not their first language.

This role includes key administrative duties, providing customer service and care to students, and attendance management. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- General reception duties
- Assist promptly with student enquiries
- Manage student attendance and maintain accurate records
- Provide overall administration support to the Head of College and other staff members
- Provide students high level support in areas of academic support & welfare
- Ensuring that the Tertiary and International Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students guidelines are adhered to and compliance is achieved

**About you**:
You describe yourself as an energetic ‘people-person’ who can easily relate to students; someone who can proactively provide assistance and get things done. You are very approachable, customer focused and a great source of information and support for the students.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Proven office management, customer service and administrative experience (Essential)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- High level of communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to engage with people of various ethnicities while respecting cultural diversity
- Proficiency in MS office products and the ability to learn about new systems
