1 in 6 Australian adults haven’t had enough to eat in the last year. On top of this, 1.2 million children have gone hungry during the same period.

Each month they provide 339,200 people across our state and territory with food and grocery assistance. They bridge the gap between the food and grocery industry’s surplus items and those going without food. **About the Role**:
Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, this new role will be responsible for driving Foodbank NSW & ACT’s individual giving programs across direct mail and digital channels. The role will also support the Head of Individual Giving to develop and implement an exciting growth strategy aimed at acquiring, cultivating, and retaining donors.

The role will require you to coordinate all aspects of individual and planned giving appeals, appeals and campaigns, and monthly donation programs. You will also be responsible for managing the care and stewardship of the donor base, ensuring an exceptional supporter experience and journey for our financial supporters.

This role also provides the unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with the incredible team at Donor Republic to help conceptualize and deliver the IG program. To date Donor Republic has been fundamental in driving the success of fundraising for Foodbank NSW & ACT and that strong partnership will continue.

A confident communicator with strong administrative and project management abilities will be a great fit for this role. You will naturally be donor centric and must have a solid strategic lens whilst still being very comfortable to work autonomously at an operational level.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the Head of Individual Giving to develop new and more efficient donor engagement channels - increasing revenue from direct mail and regular giving
- Assist the Head of Individual Giving to manage and monitor annual budgets by reporting and providing performance updates
- Implement and manage donor acquisition
- Assist in managing and monitor annual budgets.
- Build and manage strong relationships with external agencies to develop and implement campaign strategies.
- Maintain the donor database, ensuring all data is up to date and appropriately coded.
- Collaborate with Marketing Team to identify and collect case studies for use in appeals and campaigns.
- Provide support with donor stewardship including donor complaints and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with Fundraising and Donor Care team to ensure data entry, back-end systems and processes are running effectively.
