**The Role**
Within the Royal Australian Navy, Training Force (TF) is undergoing a significant transformation to ensure we are able to meet the future training demand, as well as the learner’s expectations of the larger future Navy workforce, within a continuous shipbuilding context that is delivering newer and more complex capabilities over the next 50 years.

The Administration Officer (Procurement) is accountable under broad direction to provide essential business support in the area of budget, procurement, administration and governance functions.

Some of the key duties are:

- Perform complex tasks and activities, work to agreed priorities and outcomes that support the delivery of administrative, financial and business support activities across Training Force
- Processing the payment of invoices, management of purchase orders and assisting stakeholders with budget and procurement enquiries
- Providing assistance, advice and support for Simple Procurement activities
- Work collaboratively and operate as an effective team member, providing constructive feedback and actively participate in team work and group activities

You will support the Administration Team Leader (Procurement) in their role, enabling an understanding of commercial and financial risks and opportunities through the budget and procurement lifecycle across Training Force.

In this position you will play a key role in enabling Training Force to deliver future capability and capacity to meet outcomes. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader (Procurement), you will assist in driving the automation of the business processes towards ongoing improvement of work practices. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be able to work in a small team in a multidisciplinary environment and roles with competing priorities.

**About our Team**
The Business and Resource Management Team sits within the Business Enterprise Management Directorate at Training Force Headquarters. The team performs centralised business management functions and are based in geographically located around Australia.

This role reports to the Administration Team Leader (Procurement) currently located at Training Force Headquarters, Campbell Park.
