**The Role**
Joint Health Command (JHC) are seeking an experience Workforce Officer to undertake workforce management activities across JHC with a key focus on APS Recruitment and position management. You will work collaboratively in an integrated team of both civilian and military staff to support the Joint Health Command workforce.

As the Recruitment and Workforce Management Officer you will undertake a range of tasks such as:

- Manage the APS recruitment activities for JHC.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain relationships within the Command and across Defence to provide excellent customer service and representation for JHC workforce.
- Position management administration.
- Assist the Workforce Manager in other workforce management activities.

**About our Team**
Joint Health Command (JHC) provides health care to ADF members and ensures the health preparedness of ADF personnel for operations, and, deployable elements of JHC for deployment in support of operations.

The JHC Workforce team are responsible for APS recruitment, guidance on HR policy and the management of the APS and ADF Health Workforce. The team is comprised of APS, ADF and Contract employees all working on different priorities to achieve a common goal.
- A well-developed understanding of recruitment and/or workforce management processes and policies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to represent Defence to internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to balance competing demands in a fast paced environment.
