**About Us**
On South 5 ward, the Ward Clerk is a key role within the Unit, providing a customer focussed service to patients, their families and visitors. Working in a busy team-based environment the Ward Clerk provides efficient and effective clerical support to the clinical unit employees. The Ward Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring optimal patient care by efficiently managing clinical and administrative tasks. They collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to support the smooth functioning of the unit/ward, addressing both clinical and administrative needs in a timely manner.
**About the role**
We are seeking a ward clerk with a strong focus on customer service and time management skills, and excellent computer skills who is experienced and enjoys working within a ward team environment. You will have advanced ward clerk experience within the hospital system with competency in the programs used within the acute setting. A sound knowledge of medical terminology and computer/IT skills is essential.
We currently have a Part Time (48 hours per fortnight) Fixed Term position until January 2026. Shifts are from **_Wednesday to Friday._**

- Proven health care administration experience
- IPM knowledge and skills
- Willingness to learn CHARM Oncology
- Friendly, customer service driven individuals who can communicate effectively
- Proactive, organized and can work autonomously
