Mascot, NSW, AU, 2020**About the Project - Upper South Creek**

New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce:

- High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d
- Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse
- A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine.
- A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water.

This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for a** Sustainability Coordinator** to play a key role in the design/planning phase as well as project delivery. Reporting into the Sustainability Manager, you’ll be accountable for assisting with sustainability performance for all project works across the Upper South Creek Project.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate and provide day to day specialist sustainability support to internal stakeholders,
- Effective management of sustainability risks
- Implement and monitor the continual technical improvement of project sustainability management systems
- Monitor and report on key sustainability performance objectives and standards for managing project sustainability risks
- Implement project data collection, auditing, and review processes
- Provide training to staff on sustainability matters such as assessment tool obligations and other requirements
- Provide advice to engineers, procurement, and design team on sustainability requirements
