**The Project**:
Next Rail is an Incentivised Delivery Entity made up of John Holland and Jacobs, partnering with TfNSW to deliver the More Trains More Services package of work. This program will deliver vital rail upgrades across Sydney which means customers can expect more frequent train services, with less wait times, less crowding on a simpler and more reliable network.

**The Opportunity**:
**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Support the implementation and management of project sustainability strategies, policies and initiatives that are aligned with best practice.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of an Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating through the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC).
- Liaise and support the wider project team and specialist consultants to implement sustainability requirements across the Project.
- Continuous development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies and action plans.
- Manage, track and report on sustainability programs, activities and processes.

**To be successful in this role, you must have**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, environmental science, construction management or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role in construction (rail industry desirable).
- Infrastructure Sustainability Accredited Professional (highly desirable)
- Experience with ISC certifications and compliance
- A passion for developing and implementing sustainable solutions.
