We are seeking People and Culture professionals with qualifications and experience in different disciplines, including skills across one or more of these key areas:
- **Learning and Development**:Plan, develop and deliver contemporary learning programs that facilitate impactful employee learning journeys. From onboarding to continuous professional development, support the uplift in capability and performance of AUSTRAC's workforce. By upskilling our workforce, you’ll contribute directly to our transition to new operational challenges — ensuring our people have the skills and confidence to drive AUSTRAC’s mission and priorities forward.
- **Workplace Relations**: Dive in all aspects of workplace relations and tackle a diverse range of challenges to maintain our supportive, inclusive and high performing culture. You'll ensure compliance with legislation, negotiate agreements, and address disputes with a holistic and balanced approach. Your work will play a vital role in maintaining a consultative and equitable work environment that supports AUSTRAC's broader mission, while supporting the evolving needs of our people.
- **Payroll and HR Technology**:Take the lead in enhancing our Payroll Operations and HR systems. Building smooth, effective processes and system improvements, you’ll ensure that AUSTRAC’s workforce is supported by efficient, user-friendly systems. You'll be leading end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring our people are paid accurately, and on time.
- **Health, Safety and Wellbeing**: Pave the way in safety, health and the welfare of our people, where your expertise will create a safe, secure and supportive workplace. You’ll focus on preventative action to minimise workplace hazards, psychosocial risks, stress and injury. You'll drive a positive safety culture at AUSTRAC through the implementation of risk management strategies and by educating our staff.
- **Diversity and Culture**:Play a key part in supporting AUSTRAC’s key asset, its people, by shaping a culture in which people are trusted, inclusive, collaborative and impactful. Shape AUSTRAC's cultural values by leading and influencing diversity and inclusion initiatives, managing employee engagement programs and steer the agency’s reward and recognition framework.
- **Workforce Planning and Data Analytics**: From succession planning to critical role analysis, your work will directly impact AUSTRAC's success and long-term resilience. You'll lead data-driven workforce planning, ensuring AUSTRAC is equipped to respond to future challenges. You'll transform complex data into actionable insights to analyse labour market trends, address capability gaps, optimise our talent strategies, and mature our Leadership Strategy.

- **Learning and Development**: Create and deliver engaging learning programs for employee growth, using tools like Articulate 360 across AUSTRAC’s L&D Network.
- **Workplace Relations and Policy**: Develop and update policies, manage complex workforce issues, and ensure compliance with AUSTRAC and APS priorities.
- **Payroll and HR Technology**: Process payroll with Aurion, manage entitlements, improve payroll processes, and handle related administrative tasks efficiently.
- **Health, Safety, and Wellbeing**: Implement WHS Framework, coordinate safety networks, manage injury cases, and deliver wellbeing programs to support AUSTRAC’s culture.
- **Diversity and Culture**: Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, implement action plans, coach managers on engagement, and enhance the employee experience.
- **Talent Acquisition and Recruitment**: Develop talent acquisition strategies, advise on best practices, and manage recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
- **Workforce Planning and Data Analytics**:Implement workforce planning, analyse data for challenges and opportunities, and support decision-making with robust management systems.

- Will need to obtain and maintain an ongoing Baseline security clearance.
