**APS6 Clinician**

**Brisbane Location**

**$60 Per hour**

You will see yourself working for a federal government department at an APS6 level which provides quality cost effective mental health care services to eligible clients. This full-time position offers a generous hourly rate and the support of a dynamic team to help reach the desired outcomes for your clients.

**Duties may include some or all the following**:
Direct provision of high quality, evidence informed clinical services including intake, assessment and referral, evidence-based phone counselling, complex case management, and case coordination to a caseload of clients (veterans, serving defence force members, and eligible family members) with identified complex and/or multiple needs

Provision of specialised counselling intervention tools and model's dependant on the client needs and ensuring work carried out is to a high standard.

Ensuring Effective and efficient intake for clients requiring counselling, group, or case management

Excellent IT skills and extensive experience utilising Government IT systems along with Microsoft 365

Provide brief telephone intervention to clients in distress who may require urgent clinical support

The flexibility to work shifts 24 hours a day 7 days a week

Psychologists - AHRPA registered* Mental Health Occupational Therapists - AHRPA registered* Mental Health Registered Nurses - RN's not Enrolled Nurses* Mental Health Social Workers - AASW (mental health accreditation)

**What you must have**

Minimum 2 years' experience (excluding placements) in complex mental health clinical service delivery, intake and triage experience is desirable

Require WWCC or Vulnerable people checks.
