Due to their rapid growth this position has come about and they are looking for a CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER to join them on the road to success and be valued and respected at the same time.

Reporting to the Customer Service Leader in Mentone, this very varied role involves:

- Being the first point of contact for our clients with their customers. We are an extension of their business.
- Liaise closely with our client and their on-site management: Customer is our No.1 priority
- Liaise with our internal team to ensure delivery expectations are adhered to
- Resolve any issues with our internal distribution team and transport partners
- Report barriers impacting delivery excellence (delivery trends, picking inaccuracies, damages, returns and client non-conformances)
- Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities and working with their manager and our internal team (national) to review and implement
- Supporting the collation and reporting on KPI’s to our clients
- Be results orientated with a positive attitude and a strong customer service focus.
- Have a passion for our clients and their customers: “going the extra mile”
- Have a “problem solving” mind - getting behind the issues to understand root-causes so we can continuously improve
- Communicate professionally with customers, receivers, suppliers and service providers
- Be self-motivated - a proven ability to work steadily and accurately without direct supervision
- Have minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing and distribution environments - ideally in a customer facing role
