We currently have an opportunity for an outstanding **Sales Consultant **based in the **East** looking to build on their career in **new home sales**.
Working from our award-winning displays, we want you to help make the dream of owning a brand-new home a reality for our first home buyer customers.
**About the Role**
As a Porter Davis **PDX** **New Home Sales Consultant**, you will specialise within the first home buyer market and be responsible for providing high-quality information and tailored solutions to our customer base.
Providing our customers with the education and confidence to make the right choices, you will play a critical part in making the first home-buying journey an experience that is exciting, enjoyable, and easy.
Given our main market activity is on weekends, you will be required to work **Saturday** to **Wednesday **from our East-based displays with the possibility of travelling for appointments.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- **Sales Activity** - you love sourcing and identifying potential sales opportunities with new customers. You'll actively promote Porter Davis products and services and continually explore business development opportunities
- **Market and Business knowledge** - you’ll take pride in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the product, pricing, and land developments through key relationships with developers.
- **Admin and Documentation** - you’ll provide client files to the operations team with accuracy, quality, and attention to detail with the assistance of a highly digital process to ensure a seamless client journey through to construction.
- **Display Home Management**- you’ll be responsible for ensuring outstanding presentation standards are maintained in your display homes
**So who are we looking for?**
- **Sales experience** - You’re from the industry (preferred) or related industry and have an exemplary sales track record with a strong understanding of education and guidance to obtain a sale
- **Driven and self-motivated** - You’re a go-getter who loves working to KPIs and have proved time and again your ability to exceed targets with an outstanding work ethic and resilience
- **Business acumen** - you preferably already understand the process of building, have competitor insight, and understand the nuances of the local market to support your ongoing success **or** you have a passion for the residential building industry.
- **Skills** - your sales expertise is complemented by outstanding organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as high-level customer engagement techniques
- **Passion - **you love the residential building industry and are genuinely excited about an opportunity to bring fantastic products and services to the market to unlock the dream of homeownership for many first-home buyers alike.
