About the team and role
We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to come on board as soon as possible for a full-time position. You will partner with the Retail and Business Banking divisions of the bank to guide and promote talent capability uplift, future-proofing our workforce, and help us to continue to deliver top quality customer service.
You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, who are geographically dispersed but virtually connected. As the expert in your field you'll be given autonomy and ownership to manage your own portfolio of stakeholders and roles. This role will ideally be based in one of our main office locations: Melbourne, Adelaide, or Bendigo for the two days per week that the team are in the office together, and then other days you’ll be working from home to help better balance your life and work.
About you
**To be successful in the role, you'll have**:
A relevant degree level or qualification with a preference for HR or Business discipline is preferred but not required
Demonstrated previous experience in an internal talent acquisition or recruitment role, preferably gained in a commercial/complex environment
Proven capabilities e translating recruitment outcomes into sourcing initiatives and campaigns
Demonstrated delivery of talent sourcing that aligns to workforce planning initiatives
Proven ability to promote an authentic employee value proposition
Sound knowledge of employment law and hiring practices, best-practice interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and employee lifecycle metrics
Ability to use data to inform, substantiate, make decisions, and translate into recruitment outcomes
Experience recruiting in the banking and financial services industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
